ACCESS DETAILS

The property is keyless and is accessed via a numeric security pad on the front door.  This number is changed after each clean and therefore on the day of your arrival, I will text you the new access code.   Just push the numbers on the keypad and then turn the door handle to enter.

BOND DEPOSIT

$500 security deposit is required before your arrival. This is pre-authorized to your credit card and is fully released back to your credit card within 7 days of your departure, providing the property is left clean, undamaged and Terms & Conditions met. To pre-authorize your credit card, please click on this link Jindabyne Executive Bond Deposit

Pre-authorization needs to be BEFORE your stay, as there are no check in facilities at the property.

ID REQUIREMENTS

Photo ID is required, with your address that matches the name on the credit card used for payment.   This can be either emailed or text to 0417 939 196.

Directions as follows:

When you enter Jindabyne continue along the main road, Kosciuszko Rd, and drive through Jindabyne and past Nuggets Crossing.  As you exit Jindabyne you will see a large roundabout, turn left here onto Barry Way

Take the first left into Reedy Cuttings Street (Street sign says Reedy Cuttings Street, though shows on sat navs as Park Rd)

Take 1st right into Gippsland Street, then the next right into Jillamatong Street.

The 2nd on the left is Twynam Street.

The property is a few hundred metres on the left side of the street, the number is on the letter box.   It is the right Duplex.

There are 3 allocated car spaces.  These are:  Inside the garage, in front of the garage and the space in front of the main bedroom window.  If you have more than 3 cars, then there is amble parking on the street.  However please ensure you do not park all the way up the driveway as this restricts our neighbours from getting out.  Under no circumstances are you to park in the neighbours driveway, (the duplex to the left).  If the neighbours take a photo of your car in their driveway then unfortunately I need to enforce this with a $50 fine for each occurrence, which will be deducted from your bond.

If you are arriving late at night, then please also be respectful of our neighbours sleeping and not slam doors or any other noise.

BBQ

The BBQ will be clean on your arrival with Gas in the bottle. If you run out of gas, you can swap the bottle at Mitre 10 in Jindabyne, then text me the receipt. The cost for your bottle will be refunded to you. It is your responsibility to clean the BBQ at the end of your stay. Failure to do so will result in an extra $35 cleaning fee.

BINS

There are 2 x Red General Garbage Bins and 1 x Yellow Recycle bins at the property.

The RED bins are collected every FRIDAY MORNING. Please ensure that you place both the Red bins out either  Thursday night or Friday morning.

The YELLOW bins are collected MONDAY MORNING.  Please place out either Sunday night or Monday morning.

Under no circumstances are you to place your rubbish in the neighbours bins.  If you have excess rubbish, you will find extra garbage bins in the last drawer in the kitchen, then leave the bag tied up in the garage.  Do NOT leave outside as the birds will rip them up and leave a mess all over the street.

SNOW RESORTS

The ski fields are approx 30 mins drive.  To get to the ski fields, drive back out the way you came in to the big roundabout at Barry Way and Kosciuszko Rd.   Turn left at the roundabout (there is a big sign here that says Turn Left to Ski fields).   Continue straight for a few KMs and you will see the turnoff for Thredbo and the Ski Tube on your left (opposite the caravan park).   Otherwise if you wish to go to Perisher, then DON’T turn left and just continue straight and you will arrive in Perisher.  A reminder that after this turn off there is no service stations until you get back to Jindabyne, so ensure that you have enough fuel for the round trip.

Both Perisher and Thredbo are situated inside the Kosciuszko National Park and therefore you will need to pay an entry fee into the park of $27.00 per vehicle per day.   You will see toll booths as you drive into the park.    If you have a two wheel drive vehicle (NOT 4WD) then you will be required to carry chains into the park from the June long weekend until the October long weekend.   For more information regarding chains see this website http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/AskEnvironmentLineApp/question.aspx?qaId=AEL-61.

Jindabyne has many places for you to hire Chains, and Ski/Snowboard equipment.   These are situated mostly in Nuggets Crossing or the Town Centre.  You can also hire skis etc on the mountain.

For the latest information for Thredbo & Perisher, including snow conditions and snow cams, go to their websites www.thredbo.com.au  or www.perisher.com.au

If you wish to walk into Jindaybne, the property is situated approx. 10 – 15mins walk into the centre of Jindabyne.   The best way to walk is to walk back the same way you drove into the street, but when you get to the end of Gippsland Street turn right (which is the end of Park Rd) and walk down the dirt track into the Sports Ground.  Keep walking right and around the sports ground and you then come to the other side of Park Rd.   Keep walking straight (past the school) and then turn left into Kalkite Street.  You will then see Nuggets Crossing on the right.   Though a reminder that the weather can become very cold very quickly so ensure that you wear appropriate clothes, even for a short walk.
